While the preparation work for 2011 China Yiwu Cultural Products Trade Fair is in full swing, the unique features of the fair have become prominent. Sources say this cultural fair is going to stage seven highlights as follows.

Marketing strategies exercised in exhibition invitation
This year, the cultural fair has innovation in the exhibition attraction. CCC Group set up a procurement service center (purchasers’ center) to promote the cultural fair via the overseas offices in the countries like Germany, Japan and Dubai. At the same time, marketing teams are organized to do investment promotion in the Canton Fair.

Five competitive industries to predominate
This fair has eight exhibition halls, including five professional ones on the first floor which aim to highlight products in five categories such as printing & packaging, educational supplies, arts & crafts, cultural & creative products, and toys. This action attracted many leading companies and brands to take part in the exhibition.

Intangible heritage fair introduced
This cultural fair will hold 2011 China (Zhejiang) intangible cultural heritage fair cosponsored by China intangible cultural heritage protection center and Zhejiang provincial department of culture. Covering about 6,000 square meters, the heritage fair will be located in Hall D2 in the International Expo Center. It is expected that nearly 400 fine intangible cultural heritage programs at the national or provincial level are to participate in this fair, which are from 27 provinces and municipalities in China.

First national exhibition of college students' innovation achievements to debut
2011 Yiwu Cultural Fair will hold the first national exhibition of college students' innovation achievements. By far, around 500 designers from 42 excellent design universities have been invited to participate in the exhibition. At that time, at least 5,000 excellent original works representing the latest design trend will attract your eyes.

High-level meeting and forum to be staged
During the cultural fair, director-level conference of national cultural industries will be held. In the meantime, the world summit forum of packaging industry, themed with low-carbon economy, energy saving and emission reduction, will be staged, which is cohosted by China Association of Packaging and Yiwu government.

Professional prizes to be given
To highlight the tenet of "Improving Cultural Quality, Expanding Cultural Industry", 2011 cultural fair has set professional prizes such as fine crafts award and excellent organization award.

Poetry contest to be held
As an exciting part of the cultural fair, the "Luo Binwang Cup" poetry contest will be held. So far, 12,185 poems from 1,462 people have been received. Now, the work of reviewing and selecting excellent poems has been finished. During the fair, the excellent works will be unveiled.
