The Report on Credit Index of Yiwu Market in August released recently by Yiwu Municipal Administration for Industry and Commerce shows that owing to the increase of authorized Yiwu patents and registered local trademarks, the intellectual property index of Yiwu Market in August rises from 147.96 of the previous month to 187.13, up 26.47 percent. Affected by the sharp rise of the intellectual property index, the composite credit index of Yiwu Market in August grows steadily to 137.16, a rise of 2.17 percentage points from July. According to the statistics from Zhejiang Intellectual Property Office, 325 Yiwu patents (including invention, utility model and appearance design) were authorized in August, a rise of 217 month-on-month, and the registered local trademarks reached 30,201, increasing by 6,605 from July.
