The five-day 2010 Yiwu International Commodities Fair opened this morning. There are 2,618 enterprises participate in the fair, and with 5,000 exhibition booths fully booked. The total exhibition area of the fair reaches 120,000 square meters includes 15 industries like arts and crafts, toys, electric products, etc. as well as the international hall. The e-commerce area will debut in the fair, and 25 famous e-commerce enterprises attend in groups.

There are more than 120,000 professional visitors expected to participate in the fair, they are from over 130 countries and regions around the world. In addition, more than 80 overseas trade teams are attending the fair, which includes over 10 transnational retail groups to come.

The 3rd African Goods Fair will also be held during the fair, which was specially planned by the Ministry of Commerce. There are 218 booths for the African Goods Fair, and the exhibits cover abundant varieties, ranging from arts and crafts, wood carvings, leather goods, traditional costumes and copper commodities, to coffee, cashew, cocoa beans, olive oil as well as ornaments, ore, precious stones, and building materials.
