According to the latest statistics from Yiwu Administration for Industry & Commerce, by the end of April 30, Yiwu had 159,103 market players in total, including 140,735 self-employed businesses and 18,368 enterprises. And among these 159,103 market players, there are 212 farmers’ specialized cooperatives, 77 foreign-invested partnership enterprises, 365 foreign-invested enterprises, 202 branches of foreign-invested enterprises, 16 agencies of foreign-invested enterprises, and 100 self-employed businesses from Hong Kong and Macau. Besides, there are 3,061 representative offices of foreign enterprises in Yiwu.

This year, market players have increased 10,307, including 8,552 self-employed businesses and 1,755 enterprises. Excluding some enterprises that cancelled registration later, the market players in Yiwu have increased 7,000 in the first four months of this year,and the total number has approached 160,000.
